An oval bronze semi-hollow badge; the obverse consisting of an oak wreath with a skull at the base, with a vertically positioned downward-pointing sword in the centre, surrounded by five snakes to represent Hydra; the reverse plain; vertical banjo style pinback; unmarked, but displaying the typical manufacturing characteristics of C.E. Juncker manufacture; measuring 48.65 mm (w) x 57.59 mm (h); weighing 32.9 grams; in overall near extremely fine condition.
