An eight-pointed silver star constructed of silvered zink; the obverse depicting a six-leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon; the reverse plain, with a vertical slender pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch; unmarked; measuring 49.61 mm (w) x 49.41 mm (h); weighing 18.9 grams. Accompanied by its original case of issue, constructed of heavy cardstock, with a black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; the exterior of the lid embossed with the outline of an Eastern People’s Bravery Decoration; with a lined interior lid, a slotted medal bed, an intact interior fabric hinge cover, a functional spring catch with stud release, and a functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (h); with approximately 50% of its original silver finish intact; in overall better than very fine condition.
