Germany, Luftwaffe. A Squadron Clasp for Long Distance Fighters, Gold Grade, with Hanger

(Frontflugspange in Gold für Fernnachtjäger mit Anhänger). Consisting of a laurel wreath with nine oak leaves on either side, constructed of gilded tombac; the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged arrow and a static swastika at the base of the wreath; with a gilt zink hanger suspended from the base of the clasp; the reverse plain, with a horizontal pinback, a sheet metal hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 75.73 mm (w) x 25.26 mm (h); weighing 21.4 grams; in overall very fine condition.
