Germany, Luftwaffe. A 18-Year Long Service Cross, Mounted

(Luftwaffe Dienstauszeichnung für 18 Dienstjahre). A cross pattee constructed of silvered bronze; the obverse depicting a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika; the reverse with the raised number “18” centrally; on a loop for suspension; with its period original ribbon and Hoheitszeichen; mounted, with a metal core, a field gray wool backer, and a horizontal pinback; in overall better than very fine condition.
