Germany, Luftwaffe. An Early Quality Silver Grade "Condor Legion" Wound Badge; Stamped Version

A fine early quality manufacture silver grade (often called "Condor Legion" wound badge) - “Verwundetenabzeichen” with very fine details; oval shaped silvered oval shaped silvered nickel-silver; the obverse with the background cut out, but with a Stahlhelm featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel wreaths with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, a dull vertical needle style pinback, and a flat wire catch; measuring 38.7mm x 43.4mm; in very fine condition.
