(Орден ""Свети Александър"", Първа класа звезда). Instituted in 1881. Type II. Civil Division. An eight armed toned silver star with obverse centre in red and green enamels, motto СЪ НАМИ БОГЪ (God with us) with laurel wreaths below, beaded silver surrounded, reverse with pin assembly, marked ""WIEN (Vienna) and maker marked ""C.F. ROTHE"" on the pin, measuring 85.5 mm (w) x 85.7 mm (h), extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of St Alexander was the second highest Bulgarian order during the Kingdom of Bulgaria. It was established by Knyaz Alexander I and named after his patron saint (Alexander Nevsky).
