Germany, Luftwaffe. A Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots, Gold Grade

(Frontflugspange für Kampf und Sturzkampfflieger in Gold). Constructed of gilt bronze; the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with nine laurel leaves on either side; horizontal pinback, with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; measuring 75.84 mm (w) x 25.52 mm (h); weighing 19.2 grams; its gilt finish mostly worn off, in overall extremely fine condition.
