A round silvered zink medal; the obverse consisting of an eagle clutching a mobile wreathed swastika superimposed on a cross; the reverse inscribed “Medaille für deutsche Volkspflege” (German - Medal for German Social Welfare); on a loop for suspension from its correct replacement ribbon; measuring 38.42 mm in diameter; weighing 22.2 grams; in overall better than fine condition.
