The second and third awards are reverse-mounted, each with original ribbons and sewn in place to a 15 mm wide felt band, the band wrapped around a 175 mm (w) x 244 mm (h) brown cardboard panel below a vignetted black and white 120 mm (w) x 159 mm (h) photograph of the recipient, the band secured in place on the reverse by eight strands of elasticized threading, inscribed in blue ink "Gonnelli / 9 x 12" with two stamps in red ink on the reverse of the panel.
