Germany, Empire. A Wound Badge, Silver Grade, with Matching Miniature Stick Pin

(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber mit Miniatur). Constructed of nickel silver; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, and a functional hinge/catch assembly; measuring 38.65 mm (w) x 43.20 mm (h). Accompanied by its stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze; with a 48 mm long needle pin; measuring 13 mm (w) x 15 mm (h); in overall extremely fine condition.
