Germany, Imperial. An Emperor Wilhelm Centenary Medal Document to Gunner Reinhold Sprechert, Field Artillery, 1897

The document states that the Emperor Wilhelm Centenary Medal in memory of deceased Emperor Wilhelm I’s birthday one hundred years earlier, on March 22, 1797, is awarded to Kanonier (Gunner) Karl Paul Reinhold Sprechert. He served 1st motorized battery of field artillery regiment “Generalfeldzeugmeister” (1st Brandenburgian) no. 3. It is signed in black ink by an Oberst (Colonel) and the regiment’s commander, the name is illegible. Measuring 300x240mm, fine condition with some scuffing and fraying, two folding creases, and several tears along the creases.
