Ordin "Corona Romaniei". Instituted in 1881. Military Division, Type II (1932-1947). In silver gilt with red and white enamels, cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, marked in German "SILBER" (silver), with two obscured maker marks, the numbers "1152" and "41", along with a crown above an "A" (.800 silver) on the ring, measuring 45.8 mm (w) x 67.5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, traces of gilt remains on the badge and loop, intact enamels, on its original full-length neck ribbon, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Crown of Romania is a chivalric order estbalished on March 14, 1881 by King Carol I of Romania, to commemorate the establishment of the Kingdom of Romania. It was awarded as a state order until the end of the Romanian monarchy in 1947 and was revived on December 30, 2011 as a dynastic order. The order had five classes: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
