Germany, Luftwaffe. A Squadron Clasp for Bomber Pilots, Gold Grade, with “1500” Hanger

(Frontflugspange für Kampf und Sturzkampfflieger in Gold, mit “1500” Anhänger). Constructed of gilt bronze; the obverse with a central downward-pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with nine laurel leaves on either side; horizontal pinback, with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; measuring 76.02 mm (w) x 25.80 mm (h); weighing 23.7 grams; with a modified hanger with the numeral “1500” suspended from the clasp; in overall better than very fine condition.
