Germany. A "German POW Camp Ellis" Man's Ring

An American made ring, in sterling silver, approximate N. American finger size "9"; excellent details, centering German eagle, while shanks are displaying American eagle; made circa 1944, in slightly worn condition, scarce.

Footnote: Camp Ellis was a United States World War II Army Service Forces Unit Training Cente and prisoner-of-war camp between the towns of Bernadotte, Ipava, and Table Grove in Fulton County, Illinois.
