Constructed of metal (magnetic); the obverse depicting a central Wehrmacht eagle with open wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, circumscribed “Verliehen vom Oberkommando des Heeres”; the reverse inscribed “Für Verdienste um das deutsche Hundewesen” within an open-ended oak wreath; measuring 40.30 mm in diameter; weighing 28.8 grams; in overall extremely fine condition.
