Constructed of bronze; on a loop for suspension; the obverse with a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika within an open-ended wreath; the reverse inscribed “Für treue Dienste im Zollgrenzschutz” (For loyal services in border protection); measuring 42.21 mm (w) x 46.77 mm (h); weighing 24.7 grams; in overall extremely fine condition.
