(Feld-Ehrenzeichen). Three-piece construction; in bronze gilt and white enamels, mounted to a silver eight-pointed star base; vertical tapered pinback, with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch; marked “Deutsches Feld-Ehrenzeichen” and “Hamburg 11”, as well as “Ges. Gesch.” on the reverse; measuring 52.56 mm (w) x 63.96 mm (h); weighing 31.0 grams; a hairline crack in the enamels of the nine o’clock arm; in good condition.
