India, Bahawalpur. An Installation Medal 1924, 2nd Class

Tamgha-e-Jaloos 1342 Hijri. Instituted in 1924. In silvered bronze, measuring 36.5 mm in diameter, bar suspension with its lightly soiled original ribbon, discolouration evident on the reverse, better than very fine.

Footnote: The medal was instituted by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V Abbasi, to commemorate his installation and investiture with full ruling powers on March 8, 1924. It was awarded in three classes: First Class in gold, Second Class in silver, and Third Class in bronze.
