(Fliegerschützenabzeichen für Bordfunker, 1957 Version). Constructed of oval silvered and patinated bronze; the obverse with an oval wreath consisting of laurel leaves on the left half and oak leaves on the right half, with an eagle clutching lightning bolts in the centre; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pinback, a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch; two hollow rivets on the reverse; measuring 41.08 mm (w) x 52.87 mm (h); weighing 37.5 grams; in mint condition.
