Constructed of heavy silvered zink; the obverse consisting of a round oak leaf wreath with a large mobile swastika in the centre of the award that is circumscribed “Für Dienste im Luftschutz” (For Services in Air Raid Protection); on loop for suspension; measuring 38.71 mm (w) x 43.20 mm (h); weighing 26.3 grams; in overall extremely fine condition.
