Includes: U.S. Army Aircraft Warning Service (AWS) Observer Armband (blue, white and orange embroidered insignia, on a blue felt base, measuring 175 mm (w) x 108 mm (h); along with Twenty-Four Embroidered patches, including: four 35th Infantry Division Shoulder Patches, five 2nd Armored Division Shoulder Flashes, five Sergeant First Class Rank Shoulder Insignia, a five-up Submarine Enlisted Man's Distinguishing Mark for White Jumper Badges, a five-up Musicians Badges, five British Royal Engineers Shoulder Flashes, a Tank Corps Badge, and two others (embroidered in various colors and sizes, six with a wool base, the others with a cotton base). Ranging from better than very fine to extremely fine.

This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
