Two-piece construction, silver star placed upon a bronze gilt star-shaped base, engraved "LAWRENCE JORDAN JR." on the reverse, measuring 36 mm (w) x 34.7 mm (h), contact marks evident on the reverse, original ribbon with brooch pinback, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "SILVER STAR MEDAL" on the lid, slight undulation in the fabric on the exterior covering of the lid, case also near extremely fine.
