Germany. A Mint NSDAP Long Service Award, for 10 Years of Service

(NSDAP Dienstauszeichnung in Bronze für 10 Jahre). Light Version, in bronzed aluminum. A cross pattee constructed of bronzed aluminum, with sun rays between the arms of the cross; the obverse with a central national eagle superimposed on the award, clutching a mobile wreathed swastika, all within a wreath; the reverse inscribed “Treue für Führer und Volk” (German - Loyalty for the Leader and the People); ring is marked “8”; measuring 42.6 mm (w) x 42.5 mm (h); accompanied by its case of issue; constructed of cardstock, with a brown lightly textured faux leather (leatherette) exterior, with a political eagle embossed in gold on the exterior of the lid; bottom of the case marked M1/142 (for Josef Hillebrand, Gablonz am N.); award in mint and unissued condition; case slightly scuffed, better then very fine.
