Constructed of average quality blueish-green wool, with a traditional high peak crown with dark green piping running along the crown of the cap, as well as the top and bottom edge of the dark brown wool cap band. he visor is made of Vulkanfiber, and is lacquered black on the obverse, with a dark green checkered pattern on the reverse. The three-piece glossy black leather chin cord rests upon the visor, with black magnetic length-adjustment buckles on either side, and is fastened to the cap via two black-finished magnetic buttons. The insignia on the cap consist of a small central tri-colour cockade that is fastened on the top section near the visor’s peak, with a finely detailed silver aluminum police eagle fastened onto the cap band. The inside of the cap is lined with caramel-coloured oilcloth, with a clear celluloid diamond that is marked “Lieferant Albert Kempf, Wuppertal-Ronsdorf Uniformmützenfabrik” and “34” for size in gold. The cap also features an un-perforated beige-coloured faux leather sweatband that is held together on the reverse via a single staple. It measures 235 mm (w) x 260 mm (h). With very minimal signs of wear, in overall near mint condition.
