A medal bar with five medals, awards, and decorations, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse). Across pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border; on loop for suspension; he obverse with a raised central “W”, with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm; the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with “FW” in equally raised lettering directly below; measuring 42.29 mm (w) x 42.43 mm (h); weighing 16.2 grams. 2) Baden Merit Cross of the Zähringer Lion. A silver cross; the obverse depicting a standing lion; the reverse inscribed with the crowned royal monogram of Friedrich; on a double loop suspension; measuring 42.96 mm (w) x 43.03 mm (h); weighing 20.9 grams. 3) A Hindenburg Cross (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918); a cross pattée with crossed swords between the arms of the cross; the obverse inscribed with “1914/1918” within an open-ended laurel wreath; the reverse plain; maker marked with an unknown mark on the reverse; measuring 37.66 mm (w) x 37.42 mm (h); weighing 14.4 grams. 4) An 1897 Prussian Kaiser Wilhelm Centennial Medal  (Kaiser Wilhelm Erinnerungsmedaille-Zentenarmedaille). A ilt bronze medal; the obverse with a leftward facing bust of Kaiser Wilhelm, inscribed “Wilhelm der Grosse Deutscher Kaiser, Koenig von Preussen” (German - Wilhelm the Great German Kaiser, King of Prussia); the reverse inscribed “Zum andenken an den hundertsten Geburtstag des Grossen Kaisers Wilhelm I, 1797 - 22 Maerz 1897 (German - In remembrance of the one hundredth birthday of Wilhelm I); measuring 39.17 mm in diameter; weighing 29.7 grams. 5) A Long Service Medal for 9 Years (Dienstauszeichnung 3. Klasse für 9 Dienstjahre). A round silver medal; the obverse depicting the crowned royal cypher of Friedrich within a laurel wreath; the reverse inscribed “Für treue Dienste bei der Fahne IX” (German - For Loyal Service for the flag); on a loop for suspension; measuring 31.12 mm in diameter; weighing 16.4 grams. All mounted onto their medal bar, with a zink core, a horizontal pinback, and a dark blue wool backer; measuring 147 mm (w) x 34 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.
