Constructed of bronze; the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath tied together at the base with a mobile swastika, along with the letters “DRL” superimposed in the center; the reverse plain, with a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge, and a flat wire catch; marked “Wernstein, Jena” and “DRGM - 35289”; measuring 38.66 mm (w) x 48.15 mm (h); weighing 17.2 grams. Accompanied by its stick pin; marked “Wernstein, Jena” on the reverse; measuring 14.07 mm (w) x 17.24 mm (h); with a 59 mm long needle pin; in overall near extremely fine condition.
