Constructed of zink; the obverse depicting a steel helmet superimposed onto a showel and pick-axed, circumscribed “Der Arbeit Zur Ehr, Der Heimat zur Wehr” (German - To honour labour for the defense of the home); the reverse dated “1938” and depicting the logo of the Phillip Holzmann construction company; measuring 36.13 mm in diameter; weighing 16.1 grams; in overall very fine condition.
