1939-1945 Star; Atlantic Star; Defence Medal; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp; and War Medal 1939-1945. Un-named as issued. Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, soiled original ribbons, near extremely fine. Accompanied by a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Pilot Wing (white and green embroidery, on a black wool base, measuring 98 mm (w) x 35 mm (h)); a Royal Air Force (RAF) Radio Operator Half Wing (brown and white embroidery, on a black wool base, black cotton mesh backer, measuring 75 mm (w) x 30 mm (h)); a Warrant Officer 1st Class Sleeve Rank Insignia (red and light blue embroidery, black threading giving definition to the figures and type in the ribbon banner, on a black wool base, black cotton mesh backer, measuring 62 mm (w) x 54 mm (h)).

Nine Reproduction Photographs (five in black and white, four in colour, gloss finish, measuring 101 mm x 152 mm each); a Commission Document Naming Jackson to the Rank of Warrant Officer, 1st Class (emboss stamped with the seal of the Ministry of National Defence for Air at the upper left, hand-numbered in black ink "921" at the upper right, inscribed: "Warrant / The Honourable the Minister of National Defence for Air, Canada. / To Guy Jackson / By virtue of the Authority to me, by His Excellency the Governor General on Council in this behalf given, I do hereby Constitute and Appoint you the said Guy Jackson to be Warrant Officer, Class I -Temporary- from the First day of February, 1943 and to continue in the said Office during the pleasure of the Honourable the Minister of National Defence for Air. A Commission Document Naming Jackson to the Rank of Pilot Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force (embossed with the Royal coat-of-arms with The Earl of "Athlone" (Governor General of Canada) overprint in black at the upper left, hand-numbered in black ink "J50195" at the upper right, inscribed: "George the Sixth, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, Ireland and the British Dominions beyond the Seas King, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India, Vc. / To Our Trusty and well beloved Gudjon Jackson Greetings. We, reposing special Trust and Confidence in you Loyalty, Courage, and good Conduct, do by these Presents Constitute and Appoint you to be an Officer in Our Royal Canadian Air Force of Our Dominion of Canada from the Fifth day of October 1943. You are therefore carefully and diligently to discharge your Duty as such in the Rank of Pilot Officer or in such other Rank as We may from time to time hereafter be pleased to promote or appoint you to, of which a notification will be made in the Canada Gazette, or in such other manner as may for the time being be prescribed by Us in Council, and you are in such manner and on such occasions as may be prescribed by Us, to exercise and well discipline, both the inferior Officers, and other ranks serving under you and use your best endeavours to keep them in good Order and Discipline.
