(Preußische Rote Adlerorden Bruststern zur I. Klasse). An eight-pointed silver star; the obverse with a central white enameled medallion depicting a raised lilac enameled eagle, surrounded by a broad ring of white enamels, inscribed ““Sincere Et Constanter” (Latin - Sincere and persistent) in gold lettering, with two green enameled laurel leaf stems on the bottom of the ring; the reverse plain, maker marked “Kretly a Parte, Calerie Montpensier 46 Palais Royal” on the reverse, with a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 86.58 mm (w) x 86.09 mm (w); weighing 52.8 grams; the green enamels on the laurel leaves partially broken; in overall extremely fine condition.
