This cap features non-removable side skirts two breather holes on either side, along with a cardboard reinforced visor at the front. Towards the front of the cap is a BeVo style Tropical Wehrmacht eagle in silvery grey and light brown machine embroidery, along with a matching tri-colour cockade directly below. The insignia are original to the cap and appear to be machine stitched to the cap. The interior is lined in trademark bright-red cotton that is stamped “56-M43 Karl Kubach Mützen-Fabrik, Mainz Kastel” in black ink. The interior also sports an olive drab cotton sweat band that is attached to the cap via chocolate brown trim. It measures 55 mm (w) x 260 mm (h).
