Constructed of gilt bronze; the obverse with the standard Reichsnährstand/Blut und Boden eagle, circumscribed “Landesbauernschaft Rheinland Hauptabteilung” in capital letters; the reverse inscribed “Für Hervorragende Leistungen” within a wreath consisting of a variety of grains, fruits, and vegetables; on a loop for suspension from its correct replacement ribbon; measuring 50.58 mm in diameter; weighing 50.4 grams; with the majority of its gilt worn off; in overall near very fine condition.
