Constructed of silvered fine zinc, obverse depicting an oval-shaped oak leaf wreath topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika with a bow tie at the bottom, Karabiner 98k rifle with bayonet and carrying sling set diagonally across badge, maker marked with “AS” initial logo of Adolf Schwerdt, Stuttgart, measuring 62 mm (h) x 47mm (w) and weighing 26.5 grams, in very fine condition.
