A medal bar consisting of five medals, awards, and decorations, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse). A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a raised central “W”, with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm, the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with “FW” in equally raised lettering directly below, 43.15 mm (w) x 43.17 mm (h). 2) A Royal Houseorder of Hohenzollern Knight’s Cross with Swords (Königlicher Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Kreuz der Ritter mit Schertern). Consisting of a silver gilt cross pattee with arms in rounded ends with white-black white-alternating enamels, with gilded crossed swords and a green enameled oak leaf wreath between the arms, the obverse with a black enameled eagle in a white enamel center medallion, surrounded by a blue enameled ring circumscribed “Vom Fels zum Meer” (From the mountain to the ocean), the reverse with a white enameled center medallion with the crowned cipher of Friedrich Wilhelm Rex, surrounded by a blue enameled ring circumscribed “Den 18 Januar 1851” (The 18th January 1851), on a swivel crown for suspension, marked “838” for silver content and “FR” for “Falkenberg & Richter, Koblenz”, measuring 39.53 mm (w) x 58.28 mm (h). 3) A Hindenburg Cross (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). A bronzed metal (magntic) cross pattée with crossed swords between the arms of the cross, the obverse inscribed with “1914/1918” within an open-ended laurel wreath, the reverse plain, measuring 37.31 mm (w) x 37.37 mm (h).4) A Wehrmacht 18-Year Long Service Cross (Dienstauszeichnung für 18 Jahre). A cross constructed of silvered metal, the obverse depicting a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with the number “18”, on a loop for suspension, measuring 35.59 mm (w) x 35.54 mm (h). 5) A Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service Medal (Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre). A medal constructed of silvered metal, the obverse depicting a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed “Treue Dienste In Der Wehrmacht” (Loyal Services in the Military), the reverse with the number “4” within an oak wreath, measuring 30.00 mm. All suspended from a medal bar via their period original ribbons, both long service awards with miniature Hoheitszeichen, the medal bar with a zink core, a grey wool backer, and an intact and functional horizontal pinback, measuring 163 mm (w) x 60 mm (h). Accompanied by its matching medal ribbon bar with period original ribbons, the Hohenzollern Knight’s Cross with a miniature crown and swords, the Hindenburg Cross with miniature swords, and both long service awards with miniature Hoheitszeichen, with a metal core, measuring 75 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), light to moderate mothing evident on the reverse in overall very fine condition.
