Item #G37842

$151
This ashtray is constructed of a wood core in the shape of a cross section of a wing that is hollowed out to allow for ashes to be placed from the tray into it. The tray itself is constructed of brass with a bowl in a dotted design, with three pebbled “platforms” to accommodate a lit cigarette. On the exterior of the wooden piece is an applique of an early airplane with a black enameled Iron Cross on each wing. The bottom of the ashtray is lined with a decorative sheet of brass, that is fastened to the core via four cores. It measures 224 mm (w) x 60 mm (l) x 50 mm (h), in overall very fine condition.
