Talvisodan muistomitali. Instituted in 1940. In blackened iron, magnetic, inscribed "SUMMO IN PERICULO FAUTORIBUS ADIUTORIBUS FINLANDIA MEMOR" on the reverse, measuring 33.8 mm (w) x 39.5 mm (h), very light contact, "LAPPI" battle clasp and crossed swords clasp on its original ribbon with pinback, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Finnish Winter War Medal was instituted on August 2, 1940 and awarded to those who served during the Winter War campaign against the Soviet Union.
