Germany, Waffen-SS. A Visor Cap Eagle, by F.W. Assmann

(Waffen-SS Schirmmützenadler). Constructed of silvered zink, the eagle in the shape of a standard SS eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse plain, with all three of its prongs intact, marked “SS 55/42 RZM” for “FW. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid” on the reverse, measuring 69.96 mm (w) x 32.06 mm (h), in overall good condition.
