Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bomber Pilot’s Clasp, Bronze Grade

(Frontflugspange für Kampf- und Sturzkampfflieger). Constructed of tombak, the obverse with a central downward-sloping winged bomb within a laurel wreath, with a swastika on the bottom of the wreath and nine oak leaves on either side of the wreath, horizontal slender banjo-style pinback with a barrel hinge and a round wire catch, measuring 75.77 mm (w) x 25.46 mm (h) and weighing 19.7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
