Germany, Luftwaffe. A Standard Issue EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by Franz Reischauer, c. 1938

(Luftwaffe Koppelschloss). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse with a pebbled finish, including a raised central pebbled field depicting a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika within a laurel wreath that is tied together at the base, the reverse plain, with an integrated cast catch and a dual-prong spring bar, marked “F.R.” and dated “38”, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), accompanied by a leather tab, constructed of thick brown leather - marked “Franz Reischauer, Oberstein”, in overall very fine condition.
