(Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen). Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse presents as an oval shaped oak leaf wreath with a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika on the top and a bowtie on the bottom, a Karabiner 98k with carrying sling and bayonet sits diagonally across the wreath, the reverse is plain, vertical round wire pinback with a barrel hinge, and round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 61.5 mm (h) x 45 mm (w), weighing 29.0 grams, in very fine condition.
