Sergeant Robert Clark was awarded the Military Medal for bravery, the announcement appearing in the Fifth Supplement to the London Gazette 29749 of Tuesday, September 12, 1916, on Thursday, September 14, 1916, page 8999, and in the Edinburgh Gazette on Monday, September 18, 1916, page 1653.
