Germany, Third Reich. A 50-Year Civil Faithful Service Medal

(Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen für Beamte Angestellte und Arbeiter im öffentlichen Dienst). Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze with black enamel, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, presenting as a Cross Pattée with oak leaf wreath through the arms, obverse with central black enameled swastika and raised number “50” on upper arm, reverse with central inscription of “Für treue Arbeit” (“For Faithful Work”), unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in very fine condition
