Yugoslavia, Kingdom. An M39 Royal Yugoslav Army Pair of Shoulder Boards, King's Guard Lieutenant

Constructed of black wool (indicating Artillery units) wrapped around a magnetic metal insert, with gilded stamped metal superimposed on top; superimposed on top of gilded metal sheet is silvered rank pip as well as stylized Cyrillic "P II" (King Peter II); boards measure 14cm x 5cm, of excellent quality manufacture, and in extremely fine condition. A scrce pair of shoulder boards, worn by Lieutenant, King's Guard artillery units; or King's Adjutant.
