A large studio photo of Branko Magdić (11cm x 14cm), in Austrian tunic and wearing six decorations; dated 26 May 1918, and signed by Magdić. Photo comes with two Turkish awards: 
 
A Galipoli Star (Harp Madalyası), instituted in 1915. In silvered bronze with red enamels, tughra of Sultan Mehmed V Reşâd, over the date 1333 AH (AD 1915) within an upward-facing crescent moon, ball finials on the tips of the star points, measuring 59.0 mm (w) x 58.0 mm (h), vertical pinback, of German manufacture, intact enamels, extremely fine.
 
 Medal for Merit, Silver Grade, Silver, 25.5 mm, clasp bearing the arabic year 1332 (1914) on the ribbon, suspended from a hanger with pinback, retaining good detail, extremely fine. 
 
Four cap badges, all of Turkish/oriental design and with Arabic script; all pin back, in worn condition.
 
Footnote: this lot was recently found in Zagreb, Croatia. Judging from the photo, k.u.k. Officer Branko Magdić served in some capacity (likely as an instructor toTurkish Troops) in the Middle East during WW1.
