Ordre des Palmes Académiques. Instituted in 1962. In silver gilt with violet enamels, maker marked "A.B." (Arthus Bertrand) on the loop, measuring 40.8 mm (w) x 60.5 mm inclusive of its wreath suspension, on its full-length neck ribbon, edge nicks, contact marks, intact enamels, very fine.
