Germany, SS. A SS Officer’s Belt Buckle by Overhoff & Cie

(Schutzstaffel Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of aluminum, with rear loop and clasp, obverse depicts German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, above banner inscribed with SS motto “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” (“My Honour is Loyalty”), reverse stamped with Reichszeugmeisterei “RZM” logo, double sig runes of the SS, and a mark of “oLc” for maker Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 48 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
