In bronze, obverse illustrating the right-facing conjoined busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, flanked by the inscriptions "H. M. Edward VII" in Gothic script at the left and "H. M. QUEEN ALEXANDRA 1902" in capitals at the right, and engraver marked "J.A. RESTALL." at he base of the King's bust, reverse illustrating the Minister of York coat-of-arms in the centre, inscribed "CORONATION JUNE 26th 1902" above and "A.P. PUREY-CUST DEAN HENRY TEMPLE CHANCELLOR" below, measuring 38.5 mm in diameter, residue in the recessed areas from cleaning, on a replacement 1902 Coronation Medal ribbon, near extremely fine.
