A round die struck, silver-washed pin, the obverse features an SA sports badge depicting a vertical broadsword over a mobile swastika surrounded by a laurel wreath, circumscribed by the inscription “WETTKÄMPFE DER SA-GRUPPE SÜDWEST 2.u.3. JULI 38 KARLSRUHE” (“COMPETITIONS OF THE SOUTHWEST SA GROUP ON 2 AND 3 JULY IN KARLSRUHE”), the reverse has a magnetic vertical pin, inscribed on the reverse is the manufacturer Foerster & Barth, Pforzheim, measuring 35 mm in diameter, and in very fine condition.
