A Cross Pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed silver border, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse with a raised central mobile swastika with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering on the lower arm, the reverse with initial institution date of “1813” on the lower arm, marked on loop with "65" for maker Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, measuring 44.28 mm (w) x 48.01 mm (h) weighing 19.2 grams, in better than very fine condition, accompanied by its boutonniere miniature, constructed of multi-coloured woven ribbon on a black bakelite button, in very fine condition.
