The lanyard is constructed of semi-bright aluminum cord plaited with a flat portion bearing an alloy metal plaque, measuring 38 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), featuring shields bearing crossed swords and the Wehrmacht-style eagle on a wreath of oak leaves (matte aluminum symbolized troops of armoured units), over a black wool backer, attached to a thick silver aluminum braid with a white rayon backer, measuring 300 mm (inclusive of button loop), shows some fraying and soiling, and in near very fine condition.
