Constructed of a smooth black wool backer bearing dual bands of machine-embroidered silver aluminum bullion wire, in turn lined with two bands of black machine-embroidered thread, with a central pip in the form of a machine-embroidered silver aluminum bullion wire edelweiss-style flower, marked on the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) manufacturer’s tag, measuring 78 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
